Perhaps no destination in the world offers photographers more opportunities than India. For its contrasts, its incredible landscapes, its majestic buildings and dreamlike palaces. But above all, for its people and their willingness to be photographed — and perhaps the most curious thing, their eagerness to have their photo taken, one they will likely never see.
At every step, my camera met a face waiting to be immortalized in a photo. Like this group of kids I found playing in the streets of Jaisalmer, who, upon seeing my camera, came running up to my rickshaw in search of a snapshot.
